I've been trying to get into digital painting. This must be the first one in a long long long while. Nothing special, but it was fun. I'm not great with colors so I referenced a couple of Nathan Fowkes land sketches because he is awesome!

Paint paint fun fun

I've been trying to get into painting more lately. I'm a quite a NOOB at painting, and even more of one when painting in oils and pastels. Here are some paintings I did in the past month.

Both are done with oils on pretty small canvas boards. 6" x 8" I think. For the painting on the left I used a reference from an H&M magazine for practice. The one on the right was from my imagination. I think its easy to tell which on is done with reference and which one isn't.

The two above are of the same subject. Some red plant that's in my backyard. Haha I'm too lazy to travel anywhere with my supplies so I just plant my butt on the porch and paint my backyard. The first one is done in pastel on black paper, and the last one is with oil on gesso panel.

I hope to keep painting, and hopefully improve at it!

Furnace

I decided to post my grad film, since I spent a whole year working on it and now it's not doing anything but sitting in a folder in my computer. Well here it is, please leave a comment and let me know what you guys think. Hope you guys enjoy!

A few sketches done during on my to, and back from work. Travel time for me is about 4 hours per day! Ah so looong. Hmm, I definately need to study anatomy again, and start drawing hands better!

I can't believe I just went through 4 years of college. Those were some fun times in the animation program, and I'm sure gonna miss everyone.

Ukulele!

I've had a ukulele in the corner for about 2 years now, but recently I've fallen in love with the instrument again! Its a small and fun instrument that makes you feel relaxed when playing it. I'm not great at it at all, but I found a great site with helpful tips (http://ukuleleunderground.com/)
